This privacy policy explains how the Imposter game handles information when you use the Android or web version of the app.

Game data

Imposter does not require an account. Player names, game settings and similar game information are used to run the game. Settings may be stored locally on your device so that your preferences can be remembered.

Advertising

The Android app may display advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, fraud prevention, security and measurement purposes, depending on your consent choices and applicable law.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, Imposter uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for and manage advertising consent. You can reopen available privacy choices from the Privacy section in the app.

Third-party services

The app uses services provided by Google, including:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising in the Android app.
• Google User Messaging Platform for consent management.
• Firebase Hosting to host the Imposter web app and this privacy policy.

Children

Imposter is a general-audience party game. The app does not knowingly ask users to provide personal information through an account or profile. Advertising and consent behaviour may depend on the settings selected for the app and the requirements that apply in the user's region.

Data retention

Local game preferences remain on the device until they are reset, removed by the user, or the app's local data is cleared. Data processed by third-party services is subject to the retention practices of those services.

Your choices

You can change available advertising privacy choices from the Privacy section in Imposter. You can also clear locally stored app data through your device or browser settings.
